This review is long over due but I've been coming here since I moved to the area 4 years ago and it does not disappoint. My kids are picky and love the pizza here. My favorites are the lamb gyro, chicken Shawarma wrap and beef Shawarma wrap. Amazing flavor and fresh ingredients. The owner is always friendly and food is delicious!
I am also in the industry Great pizza great taste closest thing that you will get to a New York pie all the way on the West Coast. I had to come to California to have back surgery I have found this pizza place and I have ate here pretty much two times a week and still can't get enough of it I will be heartbroken whenever I have to move back home cuz we don't have pizza like this down in Florida Like I said I'm also in the industry I'm in the pizza business but two different styles of pizza hands down to the New York Giant pizza in Santee. The atmosphere is friendly and the owner rocks You can definitely see the pride he takes and making great food
My youngest son loves this place. He is a very picky eater, even when it comes to pizza, so we eat here once a week and get our usual, a 20" pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple. Always fresh and I have never had a bad pizza come from here in two years, that about 150 pizzas ,so that is pretty darn good. We went in one time and they were out of sausage for the pizza, they said it would a few extra minutes, and I saw the person I belive to be one of the owners actually pan cook the sausage to have it ready when my pizza came out and added a lot of extra sausage onto the pizza, he could have just said they ran out (it was a busy Friday night) and I would have understood but instead they went out of their way to cook the sausage, not everybody would do that. That is one of the reasons we will keep going back.
Ordered the Supreme 12" with no black olives and added Pineapple & Jalapenos. The taste is amazing and its so fresh it definitely made it worth the wait. The crust has a beautiful crunch and the sauce added to the character of the pizza in great ways. Ordered a second white chicken 12" the creamy sauce gives great overall flavor with delicious chicken sprinkled across and fresh purple onions mixed in for a balanced flavor. Will definitely make this a destination when in Santee and with great service while following Covid 19 safety guidelines.
We’ve been getting our Friday night pizza from this wonderful family owned spot for 4 years now! The people are delightful and the owner remembers our kids every time. The pizza is also the best non-chain that you’ll find in town and I love supporting local businesses like this one! Stop in, you won’t be disappointed.
I'm born and raised in Santee. I remember eating here as a kid and I'm now 43. My wife and I moved out of state about 7 years ago, but recently returned for a quick trip. We had to make sure we stopped in for some good food. The food is always great, but the real treat is the owner and his wife. They are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. He even remembered what we always ordered after 7 years!! Amazing food and amazing people. What more could you ask for!!
We ordered pastas and a gyro sandwich for dinner. Very flavorful, hot, delicious. Weve lived in Santee forever, and this is our first time trying this place. We will definitely order again! Nice portions too!
